OneCNC Series Updates

This is a history of all OneCNC updates.

You may notice sometimes there can be a jump in version numbers.

This is due to intensive and continual internal testing where we thoroughly test versions before releasing proven functional updates.

OneCNCXR8 Release 63.29

OneCNCXR8 Version release 63.29

DXF Export
Adjustments were made to DXF export to better handle fonts in DXF

Tool Change
We have made internal changes to tools selection and tool changes to improve tool change simulation and preview speed.
Previous delay pauses in tool model creation has been reduced with these changes.

German Language
Updated German language was added in this release.

DXF Import Export
Adjustments were made to DXF to better handle entity colours.

Language Chinese
Updated Chinese languages for traditional and simplified were added in this release.

NC Manager
The NC Manager now has new advanced functionality to better handle large amounts of tool data.
There are customers who have huge numbers of toolpath operations in the NC manager. NC Manager with large numbers of operations uses vertical scroll bar.
When new toolpath operation is generated or edited the NC manager is refreshed and the vertical scroll bar was then automatically set to the top.
The new added functionality is far more efficient and retains its position after the toolpath wizard is closed.

Wire EDM
Punch cut had adjustment

OneCNCXR8 Release 63.24

OneCNCXR8 Release 63.24

This release has new features as well as updates and fixes from reports.

In this release we have included new settings into the following functions.

This is to especially assist the users that need to use a larger tip radius tool than the depth of tool path.

In simple terms use the vertical setting wherever the tool diameter should not go outside the selected boundary.

Stock Toolpaths

Mill Profile  roughing and finishing

Mill Pocketing roughing and finishing

Clean Circle roughing and finishing

What do these new settings do.

Vertical Setting

Controls the  tool to the diameter edge of the tool

Tip Setting

The tip radius of the tool

What is it used for:

This allows users to use tools with a "tip radius greater than the depth of the tool path" and having control of the tool edge to the diameter of the tool or the tip radius to the edge.

This provides for the situations where using the tip to the edge can cause the diameter of the tool to be outside the boundary edge.

This graphis shows the tool tip to the boundary edge

You will note that in this situation the tool diameter is outside the boundary if the tip radius is greater than the depth.

This graphic shows the dialog settings set to the tip

This graphic shows in more detail the setting set to the tip

This graphic shows the tool using the vertical setting

You will note that this setting using a tool with a larger tip radius than the depth the tip does not reach the boundary.

This graphic shows the dialog settings set to the vertical setting

This graphic shows the tool using the vertical setting in greater detail

You will note that this setting using a tool with a larger tip radius than the depth the tip does not reach the boundary and the tool diameter does not go over the boundary.

NOTE.
Using these new settings in certain cases if a user is using a larger tip radius than the toolpath depth the user will still get a message to check the simulation because simulation checking is always important. In those situations it is just a reminder to the user to check simulation.

OneCNCXR8 Version 63.24 will be availavle in the OneCNC update server for all OneCNCXR8 Licenced users.
